Emily and her husband Bradley joined St. Peter’s in 2012 when they moved to the eastside of Greenville. Their daughter Nora was born in 2014 and she has enjoyed growing up at St. Peter’s through Sunday School and now serving as an acolyte. 

Emily received her Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Mills College in 1999. She worked as a Certified Child Life Specialist helping children and families understand and cope with medical experiences through play, expressive art activities, and psychological preparation in children’s hospitals for 20 years. In 2019, Emily transitioned to working as an early interventionist in South Carolina providing one-on-one support and interventions for children with special needs and their families. She continues to train early childhood providers as a trainer for Palmetto Shared Services Alliance and as an adjunct instructor for Greenville Technical College.
